The Grange Cross Residents Association annual fundraising dance (in conjunction with Milford Hospice) was held on Saturday night, 11th November, at Kirby's Hunting Lodge.

The event was an amazing success - a large crowd attended to enjoy the music and song by the legendary Singing Jarvey - Ger Healy and to soak up the wonderful atmosphere of the occasion.
A donation cheque was presented to Tony Downes, representing Milford Hospice, by Kieran Hourigan (chairman) and members of the GCRA management committee.
Rob Gardiner of Fedamore won the first prize for the draw for tickets purchased by people who were unable to attend - well done Rob!
The committee would like to sincerely thank all those who donated prizes, purchased tickets, attended the event and who helped in any way - each of you made a difference!
The results of the tireless work of the GCRA can be seen throughout Grange every day, and now that further upgrading work by Limerick City and County Council has commenced at the old schoolhouse, our community will soon have a facility that can be used comfortably by each and everyone of us.
Thanks again to everybody for making our dance night a most enjoyable and memorable occasion.
Photographs taken at our event by a Limerick Leader press photographer were recently published by the Limerick Leader. To view the Limerick Leader page of photographs, please CLICK HERE - you will be able to 'zoom-in' for a comfortable view!
Last but not least, a special word of thanks and appreciation is due to the GCRA fundraising committee: Frances and Jackie O'Connell, Sheila and Mickey O'Connell, Dolores and Kieran Hourigan, Olive and Martin O'Connor, Ann and Tommy O'Connell, Mary O'Connell and Miriam Gallagher.
Best regards to all.
