Sadly, Tony Barry of Bridge House, Grange, has passed away - may he rest in peace.
Tony's son, Mike, is the co-administrator of this website - I wish to offer my sincere sympathy and condolences to Mike and his family; to his mother, Patricia; to Mike's siblings and their families and to all of Tony's relatives and circle of friends.

Mike wrote a magnificent tribute to his father, Tony Barry - In My Father's Time, which was published in the Grange book (2015), titled Grange Past and Present. Mike's article may be read on this website.
Mike's tribute is far-reaching, and besides Tony's love of his family and farming the land, it eloquently and entertainingly charts Tony's passion for greyhound training/racing, soccer and card-playing, as well as other interests.
Tony was a man well-liked in Grange and far beyond. He will be missed by many.
Tommy Hourigan.
